A private space for those thinking what comes next.

New Works space is a private monthly dinner for Midlands owners and operators who want to think clearly about the future of their business and hear honestly from peers who are working through the same questions.

What you get from the evening

A room where you can

ask the questions you

can't ask anywhere else.

A room where you can ask the questions you can't ask anywhere else.

"AI is our new combustion engine. In the early days,

people thought it was only for cars. In reality it led us

to build airplanes and satellites. The question is what

we build next."

Rt Hon Stephen McPartland, Guest Speaker, Dinner One

If you run a business with 25 to 500 people, you already know

the world is changing faster than most advice accounts for.

What you probably don't have is a trusted group of peers,

people at your level, who will tell you honestly how they are

navigating it.

That is what New Works Table is. Twenty owners, MDs and

operators around one table at The Wilmot, once a month. No

presentations, nothing to sell. Just honest conversation

between people making the same decisions you are.

You leave with practical intelligence, two or three people worth

staying in touch with, and a clearer sense of where to actually

focus. Because you heard it from someone who has already

tried it.

An evening on data, AI, cyber security and what comes next.

The first New Works Table brought together Midlands business leaders for an evening exploring how data, AI and digital security are reshaping business strategy. Our guest speaker was Stephen McPartland, former Security Minister and MP, who brought a rare perspective on where policy, technology and business intersect , and what that means for the decisions leaders are making right now.

Who attends

If you recognise yourself in any of these,

you belong at this table.

If you recognise yourself in any of these, you belong at this table.

01

You built it yourself

Twenty or thirty years building

something real. You have seen

recessions, pivots and plenty of people

who claimed to have all the answers. You

are open to what AI might mean for your

business , but you need to hear it from

people who actually operate, not people

who advise.

02

You inherited the

responsibility

You took over from a parent or founder

and now you are writing your own

chapter. You want to move faster than

the generation before you did , but you

also know what you stand to lose if you

move wrong. You want peers at the

same level, not consultants with a deck.

03

You run it day to day

Regional director, COO, divisional MD.

You have real authority and real

accountability. You need external

perspective and practical intelligence to

shape the decisions you are already

being asked to make , and you do not

have time for anything that is not

directly useful.

Who organises it

People with roots in this region

and a reason to care about its future.

New Works Table was started because we kept having the same conversation one to one and realised it was better with twenty people in the room. We live and work here and we have a genuine interest in what happens to Midlands businesses over the next decade.

The only question we ask ourselves when reviewing an application

is simple: will this person make the conversation better for

everyone else at the table? If the answer is yes, we want you

there.
